  The Watchtower's Centralization Dilemma

  the watchtower is a centralized, authoritarian organization stuck in a litigious and democratic age.. as such, they face a dilemma.. if elders are appointed by a central command - and subject to internal discipline by a chain of authority ( the circuit overseers).

  leading directly to that command ---- and if those elders are empowered to expel ( disfellowship) any member, revoking their.

  status in every congregation of jehovah's witnesses, then........ .

  Kingdom Hall being sold to church

  in short, the kingdom hall i went to as child and teen, is being sold to a church.

  my mother (still active) informed me of this.

  my big issue is, where does the money go, and whom does it benefit?.

  In reality, you, as well as everyone else have the legal right to view the books or at least the last three quarters statement. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY COOPERATION FROM THE POWER BOYS.

  I have. Lots of plane trips and "fancy" or should I say CREATIVE accounting.

  Alot of people have been viewing this discussion. GOOD!

  Now, it is safe to say that many JWs are a little concerned. You should be!

  Have any of you rank and file JWs stood up to the WatchTower Society and really TRIED TO CORRECT ANY MISTAKES or FALSE INFORMATION? Or have you just kept your mouth shut and turned away?

  Should you rank and file JWs share in the coming destruction because of your UNWILLINGNESS TO TAKE A MORAL AND DIGNIFIED STAND AGAINST THE OVERABUNDANCE OF "BS" WHICH FLOWS FROM THE SOCIETY?

  ARE YOU JUST AS GUILTY AS THOSE THAT CAUSE THE HARM? --------YES YOU ARE!!------- TAKE A STAND AND DO SOMETHING. "BE PART OF THE COMING SOLUTION! " THE DECISION IS YOURS!

  What have you done to help correct the problem? Are you scared?

  Perhaps, just perhaps, the many reasons the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society are starting to have a rough time with the lawsuits and etc..., etc..., is because:

  "Stop judging that YOU may not be judged; 2 for with what judgment YOU are judging, YOU will be judged; and with the measure that YOU are measuring out, they will measure out to YOU . 3 Why, then, do you look at the straw in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the rafter in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Allow me to extract the straw from your eye’; when, look! a rafter is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First extract the rafter from your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to extract the straw from your brother’s eye.

  Just a thought, for whatever it maybe worth! I'm not judging, just thinking about how the brothers and sisters throughout the world have been and still are being treated! When questions are raised and disagreements come about, the brother or sister is excommunicated and discarded like everyday trash.

  Why would the Elders of any Kingdom Hall and for that matter, The Governing Body of Elders allow such a "misadventure" that is responsible for so very much pain and suffering? Are the Elders gulliable, brain washed, stupid or under a "twilight of blissfull ignorance?"

  To insinuate, misapply and to twist Biblical scripture to control and coerce people for corporate, congregational, financial or personal gain, is a direct insult to Jehovah and to his son Jesus Christ.

  A task for the honest ones looking for "THE TRUTH" is it YOU?

  All of you "currently attending" Jehovah's Witnesses, (which I know that many of you are-- reading this forum as guests) while your at your local Kingdom Hall or in private, will you please:--

  1. Ask thoughtful questions to your Elders and than post their responses here?

  2. If you are brave enough, ask the "Elders" what their own personal thoughts are on this subject matter. If you really have a truthful response, will you post it here?

  3. If any of you ARE Elders, can you SUPPORT the current renderings of the Governing Body? Can you explain it for any of us to fully grasp the deeper things given to the sheep?
